STEP BY STEP NEMESIS DREADKNIGHT CONVERSION by Piquifl II (English text down)

LA POSTURA

Lo primero que hago cuando me planteo la conversión de una figura, en la que intento conservar la mayor parte de la pieza ya que lo que busco es un cambio de postura, es realizar los cortes mínimos y con ayuda de Blue Tack buscar la postura. Con el Blue Tack podremos cambiar la postura todo lo que queramos hasta encontrar la que se ajusta mas a nuestra idea. Una vez encontrada la postura, la fotografío para tenerla de referencia a la hora de pegar definitivamente cada pieza.

Después, le limpiamos cada pieza el Blue Tack, le quito líneas de molde y rebabas. Comienzo a pegar las piezas de abajo a arriba, para ir dejando la postura terminada, luego evidentemente lo primero son las piernas.

Pego las piezas de las piernas y reconstruyo las uniones con masilla (con una mezcla 1 a 1 de Magic Sculp con Duro). Le añado la cintura y el torso. Corto las articulaciones de los codos, busco la postura de sujetar el arma y fijo la postura con masilla en los codos.

EL ARMA

Una de las cosas que teníamos claro era que el arma tenia que ser muy grande. Queríamos que el arma pareciera una ametralladora Gatling (o quizás mas parecida a una Vulcan). Otra de las condiciones era que estuviera realizada con piezas de Games Workshop (y a ser posible con piezas incluidas en el kit del Nemesis DreadKnight), ya que con esto conseguiríamos mantener la estética de los marines espaciales y evitarnos cualquier tipo de problemas en un Golden Demon (los archiconocidos concursos de la compañía Games  Workshop).

Una Gatling tiene 3 partes principales. La estructura principal desde donde lo sujeta el soldado, los cañones rotativos y el cargador con la ristra de balas que alimenta el arma. La estructura principal la hice uniendo dos de las armas que lleva el Nemesis DreadKnight en las muñecas. Los cañones los corte de tubos de plasticard.

POSITION

 THE GUN

One thing that was clear was that the gun had to be very large. We wanted the look like a Gatling gun (or perhaps more like a Vulcan). Another condition was that it was made ​​with pieces of Games Workshop (and if possible with parts included in the kit DreadKnight Nemesis), because with this, we would get to keep the aesthetics of the space marines and avoid any problems in a Golden Demon (the too familiar contests, organized by the company Games Workshop).
